Richard Puxty is a massage practitioner at The Springbank Clinic. He is an integrated part of the team of practitioners that combine to provide the best possible care and management for patients whether the symptoms are stress related, sports injuries or from other specific causes.
He studied at the London School of Sports Massage, one of the premier training colleges in the country, again receiving a diploma there. Richard also studied Swedish massage, obtaining a VTCT diploma. In 2008-09 he studied a Masters in Sports Therapy. He is a member of the SMA (Sports Massage Association).

Sporting Achievements
Richard competed at international/elite level in Triathalon, representing Great Britain. Recently after a break for family commitments he has been swimming and competing at Masters level. He continues to be a good cyclist and runner.
He has great understanding of the sportsman’s mind whether at elite level or as a beginner. He established a cross country club at Sevenoaks Primary School while his children were there and has since followed them to Tonbridge Athletics Club where he has been part of the Coaching group at the U17 level to date.
He has worked with many of the top athletes at the club including his son, James, who won National Individual titles in Cross Country at U15 and U17 age groups. He is also passionate about helping athletes of all abilities and ages to maintain and achieve their goals.
