Having qualified from Leeds School of Physiotherapy, Elissa chose to specialise in the field of Adult Neurology. Over the last 25 years she has developed extensive skills and gained a wealth of experience in this area.
This has involved holding several senior clinical posts providing services to both in-patients and out-patients in a variety of settings; acting as Clinical Lead in the development of Stroke Services and being project manager in the development strategy for the Management of Long Term Conditions.
The experience Elissa gained during that time has since proved invaluable in developing a community based service which is person-centred and provides input to people wherever they need it for as long as they need it.
