Mike graduated from the Chelsea School of Human Movement (Brighton Polytechnic) with a BSc (Hons) Sports Science degree in 1992 then worked in private health and fitness before embarking on a career as a Metropolitan Police Officer for 30 years in ranging investigative roles, recently retiring as a Senior Detective.

Mike has always been physically active, from competing in table tennis as a boy, to studying various martial arts, running numerous events from 10K to marathon distance and sprint triathlons. Aside from sport, Mike enjoys gardening, occasional DIY and loves travelling to explore new scenic and architecturally rich places abroad. He has a family he treasures who give him limitless support and happiness and has been a local resident for over 20 years.

Mike is now utilising his life experience, coupled with health and fitness background, applying them to studying Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy, London (formerly BSO) where he is a 3rd year student and a Non-Executive Director on their Board. It is during this period of studying that Mike also qualified in 2022 with a Level 5 BTEC Diploma in Soft Tissue and Sports Massage Therapist through the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM). He is registered with the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage.
