Home PractitionersRenate Blacker

Renate graduated in 1997 from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).

Working as a nurse for many years and then practising acupuncture for the NHS West Kent trust for substance misuse, Renate has a wealth of experience in many areas of health and well being. Renate’s background allows her to blend intuitive practices with evidence-based knowledge from both East and West, ensuring that each treatment is tailored to meet the unique needs of her patients.

Acupuncture is well known for pain relief and to help manage pain better. This aids the return to daily activities and sports.

Tuina massage and acupressure are often used to complement the treatment.

Most people find it gentle and relaxing, so can be used for stress and anxieties.

Extensive postgraduate studies in Women’s Health and Gynaecology led to Renate’s special interest in fertility and pregnancy. It can be safely used alongside Western treatment and is supportive during IVF.
