Dawn qualified from the British School of Osteopathy with an honours degree in 1996. She spent eight years in a large Osteopathic clinic in London before joining the team in Sevenoaks in 2004. Dawn draws on over 27 years of experience practicing Osteopathy.
Dawn enjoys an interest in structural Osteopathy focusing on the general biodynamics of sports, lifestyle and occupational postures. The focus is on the individual patient advising them on their unique mechanics, posture, ergonomics, exercise regimes and coping strategies. The aim being to improve adaptability and promote optimal healing. Dawn has experience in treating sports injuries and works closely with other local and sports doctors and specialists. She also has an interest in treating pregnant women and new mothers, often seeing patients who need help in adapting to the postural and hormonal changes during and after pregnancy and with the mechanical demands of a new born baby.
As is the case for all osteopaths, there is a thirty hour annual requirement for continual professional development. Dawn has invested time particularly in, but not limited to, advanced spinal manipulation, fascial and structural techniques, sports injuries, lumbar spine disc injuries, shoulder injuries, neck pain and headaches.

Osteopathy during pregnancy
Dawn sees many patients who need help in adapting to the postural and hormonal changes during pregnancy. She also sees many new mothers who suffer with either joint pains, muscle aches or pelvic and spinal pain following not just the birth but also the demands of a new child.
