Functional Fitness

Functional fitness is exercise that mimics everyday movement and activity that improves your ability to do everyday tasks. As we get older we lose muscle mass and our joints become stiffer. Focusing exercise on functional activity such as bending, squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling, reaching and twisting, will strengthen your body to carry you through the years.

Functional fitness is a good all-rounder, improving balance, co-ordination, flexibility and muscle strength increasing mobility and stability. Becoming stronger allows you to work and play more easily, safely and supports your life.
