About Podiatry
Your feet work incredibly hard putting them under enormous stresses and strains. Your feet should not feel painful and you should never ignore foot problems even if they seem minor.
How does podiatry work?
Wearing orthotics or insoles in your shoes can improve your foot function, reduce stress on your leg and foot muscles and reduce pain. At the Springbank Clinic we offer a wide range of insoles as well as prescription and custom made orthotics to ensure every person receives individualised treatment options specific to their condition.
If you suffer from any kind of foot or ankle pain including: painful heel, arch pain, forefoot pain, bunions (Hallux Abducto-valgus), flat or pronated feet book your appointment today at the Springbank Clinic.
Benefits of Podiatry
Removing corns and calluses can immediately lead to increased comfort. In-growing toe nails can be treated in a number of ways to keep you pain free and on the move.
Cost of Treatment
The cost and duration of a podiatry appointment varies according to each treatment. As a guide, a regular podiatry appointment to maintain the condition of your feet will take roughly 30minutes. The Initial Assessment – the first time you book – will probably take slightly longer and costs £65, with follow up treatments costing £60. Nail cutting only, costs £45 and takes a maximum of 10 to 15minutes and a biomechanical assessment is £65.
