Home Services Medical Personal Training

Medical Personal Training differs from regular Personal Training as it is led by a medically experienced trainer.

At Springbank it is a bespoke exercise programme put together by Sarah Westrap-Boon. Sarah has worked within the NHS as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for over 25 years. Sarah’s sessions are tailored to an individual’s specific needs in the form of an initial assessment plus a four week training programme.

At the initial appointment Sarah carries out an extensive assessment to ascertain the fitness and strength level and ability of her client. She will then put together a unique programme that works for each individual.

Sarah will carefully monitor the session and make sure that all exercises have been correctly adapted to the client, making any necessary adjustments ready for the training sessions to begin.

Sarah’s prescribed exercise programme will then be monitored over the remaining four weeks and she will continue to make any necessary adjustments. Every block of sessions will have different exercises within the programme to enhance and support individual goals and the exercises can be built upon and adapted so you will see improvements and achievements over the four weeks.

The sessions are particularly good for anyone recovering from injury or illness wanting to build on strength and fitness.
Sarah has a lot of experience treating menopause symptoms. Her training programmes can help build strength as oestrogen levels drop, protecting against osteoporosis and fragility fractures.

Sarah’s sessions can be booked individually at £60 for the assessment then £60 per training session.
We offer a 5% discount for advance payment of a five week block (initial assessment plus four training sessions).
