Richard Pitcairn-Knowles

Richard Pitcairn-Knowles, who started the clinic as a sole Osteopathic practitioner back in 1959, celebrated his 500th Parkrun at a very cold Tonbridge park on Saturday 2nd December.  We believe that he is the oldest person (he turns 91 in a couple of weeks) in Parkrun history to have completed 500 Parkruns.   He is also the first person to celebrate this achievement at Tonbridge Parkrun.  He started at Bromley in June 2010, although he was still competing in various other competitions at that time.   As he became older he focused more on setting age group records for Parkruns around the southeast.  Covid came along with a year’s pause to Parkrun.  Since then, he has focused on achieving this milestone.
