Dr Melissa Bujtor is a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) with extensive experience working across nutrition, psychology, and lifestyle behaviour change.

Her clinical work focuses on supporting individuals and families to make meaningful, sustainable changes to health and wellbeing, grounded in evidence-based nutrition and an understanding of the psychological and behavioural factors that influence eating and lifestyle habits over time.

Dr Bujtor holds a PhD in exercise and nutrition science, completed jointly at King’s College London and Deakin University, Australia. Her doctoral research examined the relationship between modifiable lifestyle behaviours, including dietary intake, and mental health and wellbeing in children and adolescents. She also holds postgraduate qualifications in both human nutrition and psychology.

Alongside her work in adult nutrition and lifestyle health, Dr Bujtor is a specialist in paediatric feeding and eating. She works with children and young people experiencing feeding difficulties, growth concerns, and eating-related challenges, using developmentally appropriate, evidence-based approaches. She is trained in the Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, among other modalities, and is a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity.

Dr Bujtor’s clinical interests include early years nutrition, family feeding and eating dynamics, nutrition across key life stages, and the intersection between nutrition, mental health, and behaviour. She has particular expertise in supporting individuals and families to navigate complex or conflicting advice and to develop a more confident, sustainable relationship with food.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Bujtor remains active in research collaboration, with interests in nutritional psychiatry, paediatric feeding and eating disorders, and the role of nutrition in mental health across the lifespan.
