Medical Personal Training differs from regular Personal Training as it is led by a medically experienced trainer.
At Springbank it is a bespoke exercise programme put together by Sarah Westrap-Boon that is tailored to an individual’s specific needs in the form of a six week programme. Sarah has worked within the NHS as an Advance Nurse Practitioner for over 25 years.
On the first visit Sarah carries out an extensive assessment to ascertain the fitness and strength level and ability of her client. She will then put together a unique programme that works for each individual.
On the second visit Sarah will carefully monitor the session and make sure that all exercises have been correctly adapted to the client making any necessary adjustments ready for the training sessions to begin.
Over the next four weeks Sarah will work through your bespoke programme with you using weights and equipment in the stand alone Hub building at Springbank.
Each exercise can be built upon and adapted so you will see improvements and achievements over the four weeks.
It is particularly good for anyone recovering from injury or illness and for older people wanting to build on strength and fitness.
