Car Parking at the Clinic

Our multidisciplinary clinic has expanded over the years so that we are now able to offer our patients all round quality care under one roof. While we are very proud of this service, it does mean that some clinic days can be extremely busy and the availability of car parking spaces may be limited.

We are very pleased to be able to offer car parking in a town centre location and, with a little patience, most of the time everyone is able to find a space to park as others come and go from their appointments. However, unfortunately, there will be occasions when the patient spaces are all full and it will be necessary for some people to use Blighs Pay & Display car park.

Some of our car parking spaces are rented by local business owners and on some of the busier days we have had difficulties with people parking in spaces that are specifically reserved for private businesses and not for use by clinic patients or staff. This causes a lot of unnecessary complications for our admin staff who do their best to manage the parking alongside their busy workload.

We appreciate it can be frustrating having to find a space in the council car park, but kindly ask that you do not use any spaces at the clinic other than those that are marked ‘Patients Only’. We are in the process of updating our signage so it will be more obvious where there is available patient parking.

The parking problem is also exacerbated by people parking outside of the white space guides and across more than one space, as well as parking for longer periods of time to go shopping or to visit coffee shops before or after appointment times. Please try to park within the marked boundaries of the patient only spaces and if you would like to stay for longer please use your judgement on how busy the car park is and always check with our reception staff that it is okay.

We thank you for your consideration of these guidelines and for helping our admin staff avoid unpleasant confrontation.
